What is a part-turn actuator and what are they used for?

A part-turn actuator is a multi-turn actuator that needs less than one full revolution to perform a complete valve stroke. Swivel dampers and ball valves are often freely rotatable. To be able to maneuver precisely to the end positions in manual operation, the part-turn actuators in the SQ series are equipped with internal mechanical end stops.
