AUMA’s effective corrosion protection contributes to the long life of the products. The corrosion protection system applied to AUMA’s actuators is based on a chemical pre-treatment and a powder coating in two layers on the individual components. AUMA’s corrosion protection is divided into different classes for different operating conditions and is based on the corrosivity classes according to ISO 12944-2. The SA and SQ devices’ corrosion protection in standard design corresponds to C5M according to SS-EN 12944-2.
