Can motor controls be connected to your actuators?

An actuator with an integrated control can be electrically operated after installation of the power supply using the buttons on the local control panel. The motor control is optimally adapted to the actuator. The actuator can be completely set locally, without requiring direct connection to the DCS. Only operation commands and feedback signals are exchanged between the control system and the actuator. Motor switching is performed within the device and virtually without delay. AUMA’s actuators with integrated motor control AC can be delivered with interfaces that are suitable for the most common fieldbus systems used in process automation.
